Mbogo junior school started on 29th January 2010 with 30 students, 10 teachers and 2 support staff that is, the school nurse and the bursar / secretary. The classes were from primary one to primary five.
Co-curricular activities
The school carries out agricultural activities such as fishing, cattle raring, poultry, live stock farming.
They participate in games like, football, netball, swings for nursery, indoor games like cheese and scrabble, Quran competition and this is done according to Arabic classes.

Mbogo Junior school is located in kawanda Nakyesanja 1 km off Bombo road. The school is in a beautiful quiet environment suitable and convinient to pupil's learning as well as better growth of mind.

It has both the characteristics os an urban and rural setting which enhance the child's general education mind set.
