History and Background
The name Mbogo was adopted from the famous Buganda Prince “Nuhu Mbogo.” Towards the end of the last century the then Kabaka of Buganda Mwanga was deposed and exiled by the British. Prince Nuhu Mbogo was a brother to Mwanga and an eligible successor to the Buganda Kingdom throne. But his dedication, devotion and commitment to the spread of Islam pre-occupied him. Its against his back ground that we adopted the name Mbogo because as Muslims, we adore and cherish the Buganda Prince.
Word From the Head Mistress
It has not been a smooth journey up to this day. Fortunately we have gone through hard times without noticing that there are hurdles which have actually failed others to jump. All praises to the Almighty Allah, for He is the best guide, sustainer and giver of wisdom.
I sincerely thank my colleagues the teachers especially the ones i have worked with in administrtion, long serving teachers, non teaching and support staff, not to forget the endless support of my fellow directors and founders of MBOGO schools. I can not count all the successes and achievements on my self alone, neither do i pride in the academic advancement of the school alone.
We have contributed to the labour market in this country in all professions as teh inside stories will show.
